Who We Are
AOC Schengen is a boutique international education advisory headquartered in Cologne, Germany. Since 2018, we have been guiding families, professionals, and ambitious individuals across Africa and Europe through one of the most consequential decisions they will make.
We are not a mass-placement agency. We do not chase volume. We do not work with dozens of countries to maximise commission. We work with a limited number of clients per intake cycle, across a limited number of destinations — because precision and outcomes matter more to us than throughput.
Our clients come to us having already decided that international education is the right move. They come for one thing: to make that move correctly, the first time.
Every engagement begins with an honest assessment of fit — before any pathway is offered, any institution is named, or any document is submitted.
What We Do
International education decisions are rarely simple. They involve multiple systems and institutions, language and documentation requirements, immigration and post-study considerations, and long-term career and lifestyle implications.
We help clients assess fit before commitment, understand trade-offs clearly, and navigate these systems with better judgment and fewer avoidable errors. We operate as an advisory — not a recruitment shop. Our role is to help you make one strong decision, not recover from multiple poor ones.

Our Approach
Every engagement begins with a Fit Assessment.
Before recommending any country, institution, or pathway, we assess your timing and age considerations, your academic profile and documentation readiness, your risk tolerance and execution capacity, your financial position, and your long-term objectives after study.
Only after that alignment is clear do we design a single, coherent pathway. We do not run parallel applications. We do not offer trial-and-error options. We design one focused route — and we execute it properly.

We advise exclusively on Tier-1 European destinations — countries where visa approval probability is high, institutional quality is proven, and life after study is genuinely viable. We classify them clearly so you can assess which profile matches your situation before you speak to us.
Class A — First-Class Tier
Switzerland and Monaco
Switzerland and Monaco represent the apex of the European study experience. Selective institutions, rigorous academic environments, global peer networks, and post-study positioning that speaks for itself. These pathways are chosen not for migration, but for refinement and long-term global standing.
Financial requirement — BSc:Minimum €50,000 per annum. This covers tuition and living expenses.
Financial requirement — MSc:Minimum €65,000 for the full 18-month programme, all-in.
Switzerland : English-taught undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Strong academic discipline and professional integration. International peer networks and global credibility. Often chosen for refinement and long-term positioning rather than migration. Visa approval probability: High.
MonacoBoutique executive and specialist programmes. Ultra-premium academic environment. Exceptional global network access. Chosen for positioning, not migration.
Class B — 2:1 Tier
Germany and the Netherlands
Germany and the Netherlands offer structured, high-quality European education at a more accessible investment level. These are serious pathways for serious candidates — they simply require a different kind of commitment.
Financial requirement:€30,000 to €45,000 total. This covers both BSc and MSc levels, including tuition and living expenses.
The Netherlands: English-taught Bachelor's and Master's programmes. Centralised, system-led application process. Clear documentation standards. Strong post-study professional prospects and residency options. Minimum deposit required: €30,000. Visa approval probability: High. Often chosen by clients prioritising English instruction, family relocation, and post-study immigration pathways.
Germany : Language-led entry into Ausbildung programmes or public universities. Subsidised and tuition-free education available for integrated candidates. Strong employment prospects. Minimum deposit required: €20,000. Visa approval probability: High.
Often chosen by clients willing to invest time and discipline for deeper, longer-term system access.
Germany — Government-Subsidised Route: Full Cost Breakdown
The only form of discounted or tuition-free education available is through the German language integration route. Here is an honest breakdown of what that requires:
- German language school (to B2 level): €10,000
- Blocked account (visa requirement): €13,000
- Total cash required to begin: €23,000
After completing this route, candidates may access tuition-free study programmes — including nursing, where monthly stipends are paid during training. This is the only government-subsidised pathway we advise on.
A Note on Countries We Do Not Advise On
For destinations where visa approval rates are demonstrably low or where post-study prospects are unclear, we do not offer advisory services — regardless of client preference. Our reputation is built on outcomes, not volume. We will not place a client on a pathway we do not believe in.
We also want to be explicit: no advisor can promise a visa. That decision rests with the embassy. What we can do — and do well — is position your file correctly, so it stands on its own merit.
